How to Clean Brass

50 year old lamps purchased in 1970, untouched for at least the last 20 years.

Mix 1 TBs of:
Coarse salt
Flour
Lemon juice
Vinegar

Add a little more of whichever one you need to make a thick paste. Rub it all over the brass and let it sit for 30 to 40 minutes. Rub off with a cloth or green scrubbier if you are not worried about small surface scratches as they can be buffed out. I am so happy with the results!
